Some clients may not be able to log into their mail servers to check incoming email, or it may be prompting them for their password details.
The password should be the same, however you will need to change your username to your whole email address.
For example, if your email address is bob@yourname.com.au and you previously used the username of 'bob' to log in, you will now need to use the whole username of 'bob@yourname.com.au'.
