SID5530 Mail Configuration problem

There were some unfortunate issues today with the mail configuration for server SID5530, for approximately 3 hours a small number of clients domains had problems collecting their email as the mail configuration was purged for the affected domains, along with some stored email messages on the server.
We have reinstated the entire mail configuration from an earlier backup and isolated the root cause of the problem so it should never happen again.
Please accept our sincere apologies for any inconvenience this may have caused if you are one of the few clients on this server affected.
