SSL Certificates
With an SSL security certificate installed, any data sent to or from your website is encrypted making it impossible
to alter or intercept. Certificates also display the identity of the website owner and the name of the independent
authority (certificate issuer) that verified that identity.

Many online transactions fail at the last minute when consumers consider the potential risks of entering their credit
card number and other personal information, or when it is not clear whether it is safe to download from your site.

Standard SSL certificates are issued specifically for your domain name. For example: we have a certificate issued for
'www.webaccess.com.au'. When you place an order or login to the ClientAccess system this certificate allows us to ensure
your transaction is secure. You can view certificate information by double clicking on the padlock icon in the status bar of your
browser.
WebAccess provides 3 different types of standard SSL certificates. Each different type provides a different level of identity assurance.

What is TrustLogo?
TrustLogo is a way to provide trust and confidence to your website visitors.
The TrustLogo graphic not only provides a visual confidence boost in your legitimacy,
but employs unique technology to allow website visitors to quickly validate your right
to display a TrustLogo and to easily view your credentials, as verified by a trusted
third party.
By simply pointing their cursor at your TrustLogo, a real-time request for validation
of your identity is made to the IdAuthority. Your credentials are returned in a
dynamically generated 'certificate' providing peace of mind to your website visiors.
Further credentials are made available should they be required by the visitor - thereby
ensuring your customers have all the critical details at hand to do business with you.

Shared SSL Certificates
Using a Shared SSL certificate is a cost effective way to secure your website at the expense of brand recognition.
Where a standard certificate is issued explicitly for your domain (eg: www.webaccess.com.au), a shared certificate will use
a sub-domain of one of WebAccess's shared domain names. (eg: yourname.sslaccess.com, yourname.store.net.au).
Shared SSL Certificates offer no identity assurance and are not compatible with TrustLogo services.

IP Address
You will need an IP address if your hosting package does not come standard with an
IP address and you wish to do one of the following:
Use a Web Access Pty Ltd Shared SSL Certificate
Use your own SSL Certificate
Operate an anonymous (public) FTP server
